George Bolton, beloved husband of Barbara Bolton of Calgary, died Sunday, January 18, 2015 at the age of 85 years. George was born in Calgary and lived here his whole life. Most of his working years were with Imperial Oil. Besides his loving wife Barbara, George is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Sandy and Jamie Ressler of Texas, Janet Bolton and Doug Tkachyk, and Caryl and Victor Klein; grandchildren, Scott, Kelly, Nicole and Holly; and sisters, Shirley Nourse and Rhea Shea. George was predeceased by his parents George William Bolton and Gertrude Bailey Bolton. The last few years of George’s life were difficult, but made easier by the caring staff at Southwood Care Centre – Fairview Unit. A Celebration of George’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Chapel of the Bells, 2720 Centre Street North) on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
