Passed away peacefully on Sunday August 4, 2013 at home with family by her side at age 54. Laurie of New Lowell, beloved wife of Ross Weston. Cherished daughter of John and the late Marilyn Whitton, Loving sister of Darwin (Shelly), Fay (Marc), Lynn Taylor and the late BrianWhitton. Laurie is fondly remembered by Ross’ parents Clifford and Betty Weston, his sister Yvonne (Rob) Forrest and brother Kevin (Claire) Weston and by many nieces and nephews. If desired remembrances in Laurie’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. Friends will be received at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home- Stayner Chapel 7313 Highway 26, Stayner (705-428-2637) on Wednesday August 7, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to be held Thursday August 8, 2013 at Jubilee Presbyterian Church 7320 Highway 26, Stayner at 11 a.m. with cremation to follow.
